What kind of breakfast is served?
Breakfast is included in most rates and alternates between continental, American and Maldivian styles. Halal options are always available, and special diets can be prepared on request.
What type of rooms can I book?
There are three double rooms, each with one queen bed: the Double Room with Sea View (12 m²), the Double Room with Balcony and Sea View (14 m²) and the Double Room with Garden View (12 m²).
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 12:00 PM. Private and express check-in and check-out are available at the 24-hour front desk, and early arrivals can leave luggage with us.
How do I get to the island?
Rakeedhoo is reached by boat from Male. We can arrange a shared slow boat or a private speedboat transfer - simply send your flight details and preferred option and we will organise it for you.
Is there a restaurant on site?
Yes. Our restaurant serves Asian, international and grill dishes and is open for breakfast, brunch and dinner, with a coffee house, snack bar and beach dining also available.
What is there to do at Tranquil Nest Vaavu?
Snorkeling straight from the beach is the favourite activity, along with diving, fishing, canoeing, boat trips, island hopping, walking tours, cooking classes, yoga and fitness classes, and relaxed evenings with music or a movie.
Can I snorkel from the beach?
Yes. The house reef is a short swim from the private beach area and snorkeling equipment is available. Turtles, rays and reef sharks are often seen depending on the season and conditions.
Is there parking or a swimming pool?
There is no parking on the island, as there are no cars, and there is no swimming pool - the lagoon in front of the property takes its place.
What is the WiFi policy?
WiFi is available in all areas of the property and is free of charge for all guests.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed. Cribs and extra beds are not available either, and all rooms are non-smoking.
